Chartreuse Chanteuse Charms the Greek!
An incredible show was put on by Charlie Puth. His energy is enough to power the whole Bay Area. A haunting yet soothing set of vibrant LUNGS that belt out notes that ring out crystal clear at the Greek Theater in Berkeley (it's been almost 30 years since I last saw a show there). It was incredible how Charlie used the whole stage floating and bounding across it. I attended the show with my lovely daughter and beautiful wife (she saw Florence at the Fox in November). His stage demeanor is so endearing and unassuming, like meeting an old friend for the first time. I hope Charlie comes back to the Greek again! His recounting of his day at the Haight Street Fair and how he wants his band to take note of stage antics by a youth ACϟDC cover band was charming. The burritos and hummus plate were hearty & delicious! *We ate at the venue.
